What is the key reason for you to stay at Smiths for 35 years?
I have been with Smiths for 35 plus years. The main reason for this is that I have always felt comfortable with my colleagues. Smiths has a family atmosphere which makes it great to come to work every day.
What advice would you give to colleagues who have just started their career at Smiths?
I’d advise them to keep working for Smiths! It is a great place to work and they give you a great opportunities to advance your career. It’s not just about your role, at Smiths you can try new things and the company will provide you support to grow.
Tell us about one of your best moments here at Smiths?
My favourite memory is when shift employees threw a surprise birthday party for their superintendent on his birthday. I remember the look on his face in amazement and how happy and surprised he was for their kind gesture.
